BEV BEVAN: Music & Dance Fusion Charity Patronage + RRHOF Thoughts

Hello ... Hello ... my old friends ... It's great to see you once again! With due thanx and credit to Sir Peter Hackett (Cult of Wedge) of Rowley Regis. The Move/ELO/Black Sabbath drummer and percussionist Bev Bevan and his ongoing patronage of Dorridge Music School for their forthcoming seventh annual charity extravaganza 'A Fusion of Music & Dance' were the subject of this rather interesting article earlier this week on Wednesday 11th January via halesowennews.co.uk thus:

The aforementioned article also touches on the subject of Bev's induction into the Rock 'n' Roll Hall Of Fame with ELO alongside Jeff Lynne. Roy Wood and Richard Tandy on Friday 7th April. From the outset, it has seemed to Yours Truly KJS that Bev is the least likely of the nominated quartet to attend the prestigious ceremony at The Barclays Center in Brooklyn, which will likely see Jeff Lynne and Richard Tandy on stage with (hopefully) an appearance from Roy Wood too. Bev states in the article that he is currently due to perform with old pal Jasper Carrott in a Stand Up & Rock! show on that night but (at the time of writing) Stafford's Gatehouse Theatre are quoting the show as being held on Tuesday 5th and Wednesday 6th April so that Bev could indeed still make the RRHOF event (at a push) on Friday 7th April - if he were to be accommodated by the other inductees.
Bev Bevan will be co-hosting and participating in 'A Fusion of Music & Dance' on Sunday 7th May at Birmingham's iconic Symphony Hall. The event will raise monies for Birmingham Dogs Home and the MS Society Solihull as well as raising much needed awareness for Delete Blood Cancer, in memory of DMS student Riya Dandekar. Tickets can be purchased directly from Dorridge Music School or Birmingham Symphony Hall via this link thus: www.thsh.co.uk/event/a-fusion-of-music-and-dance-presented-by-dms-heart-of-england-music-academy
elobeatlesforever (elobf) recommends 'A Fusion of Music & Dance' featuring Bev Bevan to those enlightened folks who enjoy the music of ELO, Jeff LynneThe MoveRoy WoodThe Idle Race'Brum Beat'The Beatles and related artistes.

Until next "Time" in the ELO [and related] Universe ... KJS ... 14-Jan-2017
