CHARTWATCH: ALL OVER THE WORLD HITS NEW CHART HIGH

Hello ... Hello ... my old friends ... It's great to see you once again! The Official Top 100 Album Chart published earlier today [Friday 17th June] confirmed that ELO's classic compilation "All Over The World" has indeed re-entered the UK Top 10 this week at a best-ever placing of #4 following its CD re-release and stunning debut in 2LP vinyl on Friday 10th June whilst also entering the Official Top 40 Vinyl Chart for the very first time at #30.

"All Over The World" was originally issued back in June 2005 and reached #6 in its first week of release. The twenty [20] track greatest hits package now joins fellow ELO albums "Out Of The Blue" [1977]. "Secret Messages" [1983], "The Very Best Of The Electric Light Orchestra" [1994] and "Alone In the Universe" [2015] in attaining fourth place in the UK album chart.
Five ELO albums have now peaked at #4 in the UK ...
"All Over The World" is joined by "Pure McCartney" at #3 in the chart although, sadly, the Concord re-issue of The Traveling Wilburys Collection has not entered the chart this week.

ELO Beatles Forever [ELOBF] recommends "All Over The World" by Electric Light Orchestra  to those enlightened folks who enjoy the music of ELO, Jeff LynneRoy WoodThe MoveThe Idle Race'Brum Beat'The Beatles and related artistes.
