JEFF LYNNE: NEW ALBUM ON THE WAY

Hello ... Hello ... my old friends ... It's great to see you once again! The May 2016 edition of Classic Rock magazine [issue #222; ISBN 977-1-4647-8310-5] contains a nice one [1] page feature on Jeff Lynne's ELO and their imminent "Alone In The Universe" tour dates - including a short interview wherein the ELO maestro responds to the question: "Is the plan to make another album? Are ELO really reborn?" with this rather exciting response:

"Jeff Lynne's ELO are, yeah. And I'm already writing songs for a new album."

The full six [6] question feature can be found on page #108 of the physical issue or you can click on the link below to partially read it and subscribe to Classic Rock magazine thus:

  3. I think Jeff has previously said that he already has enough material in the bag for Long Wave 2, so this is great news, it sounds like he's really getting back into the spirit of it!

  4. I'd really like to see him have a go at making a big ELO album with a full orchestra like the old days.
