ALONE IN THE UNIVERSE CERTIFIED PLATINUM + AWARD OVERVIEW

Hello ... Hello ... my old friends ... It's great to see you once again! The welcome news that "Alone In The Universe" by Jeff Lynne's ELO was certified platinum by the British Phonographic Industry [BPI] on Friday 15th January has capped an amazing comeback for the ELO maestro just nine [9] weeks after his long awaited album was released on Friday 13th November last year.

In total, ELO have received a total of thirty two [32] accolades from the BPI including seven [7] Platinum, ten [10] Gold and fifteen [15] Silver certifications [plus the "Xanadu" OST which was certified Gold on 1st August 1980]. Yours Truly KJS and ELO Beatles Forever [ELOBF] thought it would be a good idea to put together this overview of what is an impressive roster of awards [proving that the late Tony Curtis was, of course, right!] thus:

Until next "Time" in the ELO [and related] Universe ... KJS ... 18-Jan-2016
