CHARTWATCH: TRIPLE TOP 30 DELIGHT FOR ELO & ROY WOOD

Hello ... Hello ... my old friends ... It's great to see you once again! "Alone In The Universe", the new album from Jeff Lynne's ELO, continues to "Hold On Tight" at #7 for the fifth week running in the latest Official UK Albums Chart Top 100 announced on Christmas Day making it six [6] weeks in the Top 10 following its release back on Friday 13th November.

Elsewhere, The Beatles' best-selling "1" compilation is also a non-mover at #28 with ELO's "All Over The World" greatest hits package rejoining EJLO in the Top 30 after rising another seven [7] places to #30"Get Up" by Bryan Adams - produced, of course, by Jeff Lynne - has slipped just the three [3] places to #60.

Meanwhile - over in the Official UK Top 100 Singles Chart - Roy Wood's perennial Wizzard Christmas classic "I Wish It Could Be Christmas Everyday" is up another seven [7] places to nestle in the Top 30 at #27 with Paul McCartney's "Wonderful Christmastime" sitting quite aptly alongside John & Yoko Lennon's "Happy Xmas [War Is Over]" at #68 and #69 respectively.
