Hello ... Hello ... my old friends ... It's great to see you once again! One of the very great pleasures of running ELOBF is that I also get to to promote local artistes and bands here in the Midlands of England who exist and participate in the ELO; Beatles [and related] universe. You may recall that ELOBF recommends: "The BeatBack Brothers" - an act who interpret [amongst many others] the music of The Beatles and ELO - and who comprise the multi-talented Craig Whale and Adam Willetts:
I am now pleased to announce that Craig and Adam have now joined forces with Ian Hammond and Dave Cottle to form a new band entitled: "Band On The Runn" [BOTR]:
The newly created band will cover and interpret the musical ministry of Paul McCartney from his Beatles; Wings and solo periods including tracks such as: "Jet"; "Flaming Pie"; "Hey Jude"; "Coming Up"; "Back In The USSR"; "The Long And Winding Road"; "Let 'Em In"; "Live And Let Die"; "Let It Be"; "Drive My Car" and "Blackbird" amongst not a few others.
You can catch BOTR at their debut gig at 8:00PM on Friday 17th June 2011 at the Goodrich Social Club in Wolverhampton. ELOBF can now confirm that this concert is absolutely FREE hence there is no need to obtain ticket[s] for this promising and exciting gig! See you there?
